This little sweetheart is Carter, a miracle and a much loved new little life. There was much expectation for this little guy, and his proud parents have waited a long time :) We went to meet Carter, and had a quick photo shoot with him at the same time, which was interrupted by other visitors, but we captured this sweet little man. Carter’s dad is on the Smithers Steelheads hockey team, 2012 Coy Cup Champions… the puck is the winning puck!
Anyways, little Carter had a major aversion to being put down and left alone for photos, as indicated here:
…so we adapted, and gave Carter more of a lifestyle shoot instead of a prop-ish, posed shoot. (As an aside, while the posed baby sessions are sweet and cute, I much prefer lifestyle sessions, where the family is enjoying life and being together… I LOVE those!)
